About this course
This course teaches the complete spatial-audio pipeline an immersive engineer runs, from understanding why a 7.1.4 bed and dynamic objects replace a stereo bus to exporting a fully compliant Dolby Atmos master. You will work with named tools including the Dolby Atmos Renderer, Apple Logic Pro, Avid Pro Tools, dearVR and Dolby binaural panners, and ambisonic plugins, with the specific channel layouts, dB targets, and file formats that separate a real immersive deliverable from an upmixed stereo file. By the end you can build a bed-and-object Atmos session, audition a binaural render with correct distance cues, and deliver an ADM BWF master that passes Apple and streaming ingest.
