About this course

This course walks you through every foundational skill a new archer needs: choosing between recurve and compound equipment, fitting draw length and draw weight to your body, and developing a repeatable shot cycle grounded in biomechanics. You will learn how breathing and back-tension release replace muscle effort, how to read arrow flight to diagnose form errors, and how to tune your setup for tighter groups. Range safety rules, equipment maintenance, and club etiquette are woven throughout so you can train confidently in any facility.
